From Europe (The Netherlands) I ordered an anodized aluminum handle and two stainless steel bases. Also, I ordered engraving and sent a logo-like design of my initials. Delivery was sooner than I expected, and execution flawless. My first shots of coffee I pulled with these tampers gave excellent results. I needed 10% less coffee to arrive at the same quality espresso and none of the shots had visible side channeling clues, something that happened to me a lot before. Peter.

I just received my newest Reg Barber tamper. The wood is beyond beautiful, the engraving classic, and the new "CFlat" piston, done up in brass is, in my opinion, craftsmanship at it's very best. Better still, it fits the 51mm basket perfectly...as I knew it would. My Reg 58mm is already jealous!!
